Driving the van into the river from a boat launch... while Biden sleeps

Joe Biden asleep at the switch... and somebody else keeled over directly behind him...

A terrible tragedy in Newburgh: a young mother deliberately drives the family van into the Hudson River and drowns herself and her kids... There are several versions of the story going around.

First, the 10-year old son was "dropped off" by the Mom before the desperate act.
Then, he "escaped" from the sinking van.

First, he was the son of her husband with a "previous partner"... now, his "son" status is no longer mentioned.

First Lashaundra or Lashandra (she has as many different spellings as Col. Kadaffi) was distraught "after an argument with her husband at the family home" - but this morning a major TV network has awarded her the family-friendly sympathetic title of "struggling single mom."

It seems to me that instead of putting Vice President Joe Biden to sleep with what critics are calling a re-election speech, President Barack Obama might want to figure out a better way to conduct income tax collections.

I saw an ad this morning on TV for a company that promises $50 off the charge for doing your taxes if you switch to them from the company that did them for you last year. Honestly, if they're saving customers $50 how much are they gouging people for doing their taxes and are taxes that difficult to do?

Note: I see many of these income tax companies set up shop in low to low-middle income areas of the city. I also notice that most of the TV commercials for these tax places feature African-Amerrican customers, usually what appears to be a husband-and-wife team, smiling as they get their taxes done. (For the record: I've always done my own taxes, and always will until I hit the Powerball.)
