ATM Antics: One More Thing To Worry About
Got this link via twitter earlier today. wouldn't you agree that in this digitizing world, these clever analog criminals have been able to (hate to say it) "think outside the box?" BETTER YET: "Think oustide the PIXEL!" (Yeah, I like that!)
There was a discussion this afternoon on the first hour of WAMC's VoxPop about mankind's venture into the digital realm. One caller referred to herself as an "analog girl." I have lots of analog equipment that I have no intention of replacing. This morning I found a couple of links to a story that North Korea was working on a digital "pulse" bomb - anyone familiar with the Dark Angel TV series knows what that could lead to...
My advice, as always, is to keep an analog system as a back-up. Although the "Dark Angel" TV show is fictional, imagine the impact if some sort of pulse bomb succeeded in wiping out all electronic data!

And, as phones expanded in some countries, so did economic development.
