NOT in the mood for a parade...

Albany & North Albany are holding St. Patrick's Day parades today - yup, today. That's just not right! Either hold 'em on St. Pat's or wait until next Saturday, the "real" St. Patrick's Day weekend. There's no spirit to this: it's akin to celebrating Valentine's Day on February 8th, or New Year's Day on December 25th, yeah, lumped right in with Christmas...

Now there's a thought! Lump the two holidays together, everybody goes back to work earlier, we cut out that fluffy time between Christmas and New Year's... What do you think?
