Wii U: 3DS as second controller

Nintendo is currently developing the next Wii U opportunities. If a single controller is for the time being announced with the console, it might that the 3DS also assumes the role of "joystick".

Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that a single controller would be sold with the console. The demonstrations so far showed that the multiplayer Wii u was all even possible, the console compatible with the Wiimotes and the Nunchuck. Currently, four Wiimotes and the tablet of the Wii U can coexist together and ensure parts of several games.

But Miyamoto goes further and refers to the possibility to intervene in turn the Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo shows willingness to recycle its accessories and consoles, to avoid too large investments players. Reduce costs for players, buy a new console without having to rebuild stocks of devices, this appears to be a selling point for this next Wii U.

For the moment, Nintendo is still seeking solutions regarding the use of several Wii U pad. To what extent another Wii U player could bring a friend for example, its Tablet and connect to the console? Would this Wii U be strong enough to allow two controllers operate at the same time?
