Monday: Back on the Chain Gang...

The Cuomos are very interesting political people. For years I've enjoyed following the Clintons, but I must confess my number two celebrity indulgence is the Cuomos. And now that Andrew has brought the New York State governorship back under the family crest... the Albany Times Union devoted Sunday's Page One to one of those "This story is available only in print" articles: "A political legacy that's steeped in the bloodline" subheadlined "The complicated symbiosis between Gov. Cuomo 52 and Gov. Cuomo 56," by Paul Grondahl could serve as a "Cliff's Notes" or maybe an "Idiots Guide to Cuomo." It contains many great stories and anecdotes, and if you can getcherhandson a copy of the paper...

On the front page of the "Perspective" Section, another Cuomo story. This time "(Andrew) Cuomo seizes the upper hand in budget battle." What is most noticeable is that beside both Cuomo stories there are Albany city landfill stories! (Guess there's no new NXIVM news this week.) All of the aforementioned can be found online.

There's a shining example of why I never bother to by "service agreements" for anything on page D1 in Cathy Woodruff's "The Advocate" column, all about somebody who bought a snowblower from Sears with a pricey service agreement that so far has proven to be worth its weight in s%*t.

What news will this new week bring? #Egypt will likely remain the top buzzword, unless Al-Qaeda launches a nuke or snother volcano goes off somewhere... Oh well, at least the groundog predicted an early end to winter... we'll see about that one! As always, catch me here or on twitter on on the radio!
